Adriano Cabral is the Assistant Professor of Acting at the University of Nevada, Reno with experience teaching at the University of West Georgia, New School for Arts and Academics, and Arizona State University. He holds his MFA in Theatre Performance from Arizona State University and BA in Musical Theatre from Rhode Island College. Cabral is the Director of Technology for the Voice and Speech Trainer’s Association (VASTA) and a certified Assistant Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework®, Second Degree Reiki Healer, and candidate for teacher certification in Knight-­Thompson Speechwork.

As an actor, Adriano has performed around the globe. He has worked on projects in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Japan, Colombia, and Indonesia. He continues to pursue his own acting career while following his love of teaching. The students he has coached continue to perform, tour nationally, and pursue their own education further. His clients have won awards for musical theatre excellence and scholarships for academic success.
